We are offering a few pilgrimages this summer for those in Kansas or Missouri over the summer. These are an opportunity to build a culture of pilgrimage and grow in our faith.

If you are in Lawrence/Topeka, join us down in Baldwin City at 9am to begin the pilgrimage. If you are in Johnson County/KC, join us at the Louisburg Cider Mill for the final leg of the trip down to Mound City to visit the shrine.

We'll discuss the life of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, explore her life here in Kansas, and pray together. We ask pilgrims to bring along a sack lunch so that we can all picnic in the footsteps of the saint.

July - Fr. Emil Kapaun (Pilsen, KS)

Join us in July for a trip down to the hometown of Fr. Emil Kapaun, a recipient of the Medal of Honor and servant of God. We'll get a guided tour of his home parish and visit the museum.

Check back soon for more details!

WHY PIlgrimage?

Pilgrimage is not only undertaken as a form of penance to atone for our sins but also restores us in our God-given image as embodied souls. Real saints lived, worked, and died in real places. In an age of virtual reality, pilgrimage roots us in the true, the good, and the beautiful that God has given us in this world.

What should I bring?
